Now if only shopping websites had a "Never mind, I really shouldn't have bought that because I probably can't afford it" button. Maybe someone should create a desktop application -- a fairy godmother of sorts -- to act as a conscience on your computer:

"Save your file! You wouldn't want to lose it if your computer crashed!"

"Don't buy that! Save the money. Don' t you want your kid to go to college?"

"Hey buddy, language.. language! Keep it clean."

"Solitaire, again? That's it. One more game, but then you must finish your essay."
