Moses drops it like it's hot

Haha. I've been reading the Old Testament, and while God did only give Moses 10 commandments (Exodus 34:28), Moses did have a little mishap...

Moses leaves the people in the desert to go up on Mount Sinai where God gives him two tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God (Exodus 31:18; 32:15-16). Moses comes back down to the people and because he had been gone so long, the Israelites told Aaron they wanted to be gods and they made a golden calf and started worshiping it. Of course Moses is a little upset when he comes back and sees such disobedience to the Lord.

Moses throws the tablets out of his hands and broke them into pieces at the foot of the mountain (Exodus 32:19). Then he has to straighten out the people. A couple of chapters later, the Lord tells Moses to make some more tablets so He can write on them "the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke." (Exodus 34:1)
