The Last Stretch

I did my laundry this morning: everything from the last week plus all my bedding. The dryers suck; I've said this before, so I was down there for two hours. Instead of studying, I started reading a book. It's almost noon and I've yet to study. I grabbed a sandwich for lunch (the Derb now has bread that has only 45 calories a slice -- bread has been 70/slice for as long as I can remember; this is fascinating to me. Unfortunately it was wheat bread, and I'm not a huge fan, but it's okay -- and I'm finishing up the first episode of season 4 of the Office. I think I'll go out to my car and get my suitcases to start packing. It's sunny and nearly 40 degrees, so hopefully I won't have to scrape ice off my car.

My Spanish final is tonight at 7pm; I'll spend the afternoon studying. I've kind of lost hope that any more studying will better prepare me for the final. I think since I have 1hr 50 min to take the test, I can do well enough to not drop my grade any lower than to a B. An A would be ideal, but after my midterm I prepared myself to accept a B.

Last night I hung out with Jessica and we decoupaged covers to make recycled notebooks. I'm pretty excited; this is something I could do myself at home if I can find some good magazines. It was fun. Well, time to start being productive. I'm on the last stretch. 24 hours from now, I'll be ready to head home. Hasta luego.

Here's a picture by Ashley Weeks; pretty incredible image of the ice/snow:
