transformation: a growing awareness of God's holiness and a growing awareness of my sinfulness such that at every stage of my life, the cross is more beautiful to me; to cross is bigger to me; the work of Jesus is more staggering to me.

This is transformation: Every moment of every day looking to Jesus to be everything for me that I cannot be myself.

Gospel transformation: coming to terms with my own death and finding new life in Jesus.

The key to survival is going over and over the gospel message until it becomes the focal point of who I am.
